About Me

Author, Headteacher, & Dance Ninja

I am Headteacher at a primary school in Leicestershire committed to educating the whole child and facilitating them to be the best that they can be.

Since entering teaching, I’ve always had a passion for supporting all children to achieve their individual potential, so I have always enjoyed finding different teaching strategies and seeing children develop or deepen their joy for learning. My particular interest has been SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). I also volunteer weekly with a social group for adults with SEND. We facilitate opportunities for adults to get together, socialise and improve their social skills.

My vision is to ensure that every child is able to read in order to unlock the beautiful journey that you can go on within a story.

My aim is to reach out to as many people as I can, raise awareness of difficult issues and, in turn, provide support for more children.
